GATE Study Founders
Mrs. N.R. Trivedi
Mrs. N.R. Trivedi did her B.E. (Telecom) from B.I.T.S Pilani and M.E. (Microwaves) from IIT Roorkee. She has over 40 years of teaching and research experience.
In 1980, she started her teaching career and joined MANIT Bhopal in Electronics &Communication Department. She has taught 6 different courses in UG and 3 courses in PG. Developed 5 Laboratories for UG and PG courses with instruction manuals. She retired from the MANIT Bhopal in 2012.
Before joining MANIT, she worked at Advanced Center for Electronic systems (ACES), Electrical Engineering Department, IIT Kanpur from 1973 to 1980. She was involved in the development of Microwave Integrated Circuit (MICs) at S. Band of frequencies and mining communication.
Mrs Trivedi started her career at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (T.I.F.R) Bombay where she was involved in development of solid state sources, leading to tunable microwave oscillators.
She has guided 20+ M.Tech students and has published around 35 papers in journals & conferences. She is fellow member of IETE and has worked as Honorary Treasurer for IETE Bhopal during 2006 to 2008
Dr. D. K. Trivedi
Dr. D.K. Trivedi did his Post Graduation in Electronics Engineering from B.I.T.S. Pilani. He completed his Ph.D. in Electro Magnetics from Electrical Engineering Department at I.I.T. Kanpur. He has over 13 years of Research Development and Industrial experience and over 30 years in Academics as a faculty and Academic Administrator.
His Research & Development experience includes stints at TIFR Bombay and IIT Kanpur. At TIFR he was involved with the development of transmit-receive chain for SHAR tracking radar. At IIT Kanpur he worked at Advanced Center for Electronic Systems (ACES) in Electrical. Dept on Phased Array Radar , Microwave Integrated circuit and Synthetic Aperture Radar.
His academic experience has been with MANIT Bhopal, where he worked for over 25 years. During this period he held various positions in the institute. He was Head of the Department for Electronics & Computer Science Department for two terms and Dean (P&D), Dean (R&D), Dean (Academic), Dean (Admin), etc. for assigned tenures. He was the coordinator and Dean to TEQIP project of World Bank.
After retiring in 2006, he joined Radharaman Group of Institutes (RGI) where he has been actively involved with the growth of the group since 2006 in various capacities. His role as Development Director EC has been to work across the institutes for Development of Electronics course from faculty selection, lab development and faculty counseling etc.
At many occasions he has been member Board of Studies and RDC to various universities and Chairman Board of Studies, member standing committees, member senate and member Board of Governance at MANIT. He has been member of professional societies like IETE, IE, CSI, and IEEE . He was Chairman of IETE Bhopal for two terms.
He is also an expert member in the AICTE accreditation team and a NBA for Accreditation of courses at various Engineering Colleges.
